  • If you are a digital/tech business, please refer to the contribution guidelines - specifically the section on the Staffordshire Digital directory and use the associated submission form. As part of the onboarding, we may liaise with you to ensure that the information you provide is within scope and helps to showcase your business.

  • There is no cost for businesses to join Staffordshire Digital.

  • Staffordshire Digital is run as a not-for-profit programme that aims to provide a service to the digital/tech community of practice in the region.

  • The directory provides an opportunity to list your business and the digital/tech expertise and services that you offer, and thus enhances business visibility. It also demonstrates that your business is part of the digital/tech cluster of businesses in Staffordshire and part of the defining collective digital strength in the region.

  • Yes - we can do this, and we encourage businesses to use the Staffordshire Digital platform to spotlight their work. One of the key objectives of Staffordshire Digital is to showcase digital/tech innovation excellence and the brilliant digital talent and expertise that exists in the region.   • We define a digital/tech business as one that offers products and services in the following areas:

    Artificial Intelligence: the ability of machines to mimic human cognitive functions such as learning, reasoning, problem-solving, perception, and decision-making. This includes the development of algorithms, models, and systems that can perform intelligent tasks without being explicitly programmed.

    Cloud computing: Offering cloud-based services, such as storage, computing power, and software applications, that can be accessed remotely over the internet.

    Data analytics: Collecting and analysing data to help businesses make informed decisions and improve their operations, such as data mining, machine learning, and business intelligence.

    Digital content creation: Producing and distributing digital content, such as videos, podcasts, music, or e-books, for entertainment or educational purposes.

    Digital marketing: Helping businesses to develop and execute digital marketing strategies, including search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, email marketing, and digital advertising.

    E-commerce: Building and managing online stores or marketplaces that enable consumers to buy and sell products and services online.

    Gaming: Developing and publishing video games for consoles, computers, or mobile devices.

    Hardware development: Designing and developing electronic devices, such as smartphones, tablets, wearables, or Internet of Things (IoT) devices.

    Software development: Developing software applications and systems for businesses or consumers, such as mobile apps, web applications, desktop software, or enterprise software solutions.

    IT services: Providing IT support, consulting, and management services to businesses, including network administration, server management, and cybersecurity.

    Robotics: technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots.
